The Indian River County Historical Society, Inc., established in 1983, is a private, non-profit, 501c3, organized to save, preserve, and restore the historical and environmental resources of Indian River County. In order to accomplish this, the Society works with state and local governments, organizations, foundations, and citizens to raise monies for historical preservation projects and educational programs.

Membership Information for the Indian River County Historical Society:

The Indian River County Historical Society, Inc. established in 1983, is a private non-profit organization with a simple mission statement - to save, preserve and restore the historical and environmental resources of Indian River County. In order to accomplish this, the Society works with local and state governments, organizations, foundations and citizens to raise monies for historical preservation projects and educational programs.

We would love for you to join us.  Please see memberships fees below:

Individual  --  $25.00                 Bronze  --  $100.00                      Gold  --      $   500.00
Family       --  $35.00                 Silver   --   $250.00                      Platium --  $ 1,000.00 +

Volunteers Needed

Do you have 2 hours per week to spend with others sharing your skills to benefit the community through our historical programs?  The properties of the Indian River County Historical Society, Inc. are running in full swing. Our current volunteers are busy manning the phones, giving tours, updating membership lists, preserving documents and photographs, researching and preparing mailings.

We are now accepting applications for Docent Training at the Hallstrom House - volunteer hours (4) four hours a week If interestested, please call:
